Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is an initiative to enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. BHIM is interoperable with other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications, and bank accounts.
The BHIM UPI app is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). BHIM is made in India and dedicated to the service of the nation.
How to use BHIM App full guide step by step
First you have to Register your bank account with BHIM, and set a UPI PIN for the bank account. Your mobile number is your payment address (PA), and you can simply start transacting. Yes! It is that simple.
Send / Receive Money: Send money to or receive money from friends, family and customers through a mobile number or payment address.
Full Steps to Use BHIM App
- Open the App and click on next
- Register your number with bhim app
- Verify your number with UPI
- Set 4 digit code and select your bank
- Verify your ATM card and you are done
- That’s all, now you can do transection using BHIM App
So as you can see below steps its very simple and easy process, but be sure your mobile number is registered with your bank account otherwise you can’t register

Can i send money non UPI supported bank?
Yes, Money can also be sent to non UPI
supported banks using IFSC and MMID. You can also collect money by sending a request and reverse payments if required

Check balance: Using BHIM UPI app you can also check your bank balance and transactions details on the go.
Custom payment address: ot just only this even, You can create a custom payment address in addition to your phone number.
QR Code: You can scan a QR code for faster entry of payment addresses. Merchants can easily print their QR Code for display.
Transaction Limits: But remember Maximum of Rs. 10,000 per transaction and Rs. 20,000 within 24 hours.

Steps to Send money using BHIM app
- Open BHIM app
- Enter details of the person whom you want to send payment
- Put amount and click on send
- Enter otp and you are done
- Money will be sent instant
You can also send payment using her registered mobile number but make sure receiver mobile number should be registered with BHIM UPI else you can’t send money
Steps to Receive/ Request money from BHIM App
- Just enter her mobile number from whom you want to receive payment
- Click on money request
- Sender will got a notification
- Once, sender will send money, you will receive money instant
You can also receive payment by scanning QR code, its too easy process, BHIM app will give you a QR code, sender will send money by scanning these QR code
